My name is Rafael Rinaldi.
I build digital products at Work & Co, a product design and development firm based in Brooklyn, New York.
Throughout my career I’ve worked at design studios and digital agencies such as Firstborn, Grafikonstruct and Grïngo; startups and most recently lead the Front‑end team at Netshoes, the largest sporting goods e‑tailer in the world.
I’m also a juror at The FWA, Live Coding Instructor for Udacity’s React Nanodegree program and advisor at Magnetis, a Brazilian fintech startup.
With over a decade of experience on the field, I specialize in component‑based UI development, web application architecture, and leading technical teams while utilizing modern tools and practices; approaching performance and accessibility as first class citizens.
I’m currently interested in Clojure and serverless architectures.
My passion is to find simple solutions for complex problems.
Some of my recent client work features Apple, Delaware Life, Givewith, Epic Games, Oscar and T‑Mobile.
I spend quite a lot of my time doing open source; either by releasing new software or helping maintain projects I care about. If you or your company benefit from my open source work, or if you simply want to show your support, please consider buying me a coffee.
You can find me on GitHub, Twitter and LinkedIn.
