My name is Rafael Rinaldi.
I build digital products at Work & Co, a product design and development firm based in Brooklyn, New York.
Throughout my career I’ve worked at design studios, digital agencies, startups, and most recently led the Front‑end team at Netshoes, the largest sporting goods e‑tailer in the world.
I’m also a juror at The FWA, and advisor at Magnetis, a leading Brazilian robo-advisor.
With over a decade of experience on the field, I specialize in component‑based UI development, web application architecture, and leading technical teams while utilizing modern tools and practices; approaching performance and accessibility as first class citizens.
I’m currently interested in Clojure and serverless architectures.
My passion is to find simple solutions for big problems.
Recent client work features Apple, Gainbridge, Givewith, Epic Games, and Oscar.
I spend quite a lot of my time doing open source; either by releasing new software or helping maintain projects I care about. If you or your company benefit from my open source work, or if you simply want to show your support, please consider buying me a coffee.
I’m available for part‑time freelance work. Project‑based; mentorship or consultancy opportunities.
Technology I use the most these days include React and React Native, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js and the AWS cloud platform.
